At Easter my sister-in-law Mimi taught us how to make chocolate covered strawberries. These are horribly addictive and we have used them for all types of chocolate covered goodies. It can be made in small amounts for a quick chocolate fix or large amounts for a crowd. If you store them in the fridge UNCOVERED they can keep for several days. If you cover them they go mushy in a day.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

1/2 c nutella
1/2 c milk or semi-chocolate chips
strawberries (or cinnamon bears, pineapple etc)

Put nutella and chocolate chips into a bowl. Microwave for a minute and a half, stopping every 30 seconds to stir. The chocolate should be smooth and completely blended together. Dip your strawberries into the chocolate and lay on top of a wax paper covered plate. If the chocolate gets too hard just microwave it for a few seconds again. Its fun to take a fork and just drizzle the chocolate mixture across strawberries too. Put the strawberries on the plate into the fridge to harden for 30 minutes to an hour. You can keep them uncovered for a few days in the fridge although ours have never made it past 48 hours!
